1. Introduction

Our extensions are designed to enrich your browser experience by delivering one piece of content per day—facts, quotes, jokes, vocabulary or astronomy tidbits—alongside topic selection, feedback controls, and a simple 14-day trial with an optional lifetime unlock. This Privacy Policy explains what (if any) data is collected, how it is processed, and your rights.

2. Data Collection and Usage

All four extensions collect and store the following information, locally on your device via the Chrome Storage API. No personal data is ever transmitted off your browser.

• User Settings & Preferences
  • Chosen delivery time and selected content topics (e.g. Science, Humor, Philosophy, Space)
  • Trial install date and license key status

• Content Interaction Logs
  • Records of daily-content interactions:

  • “Refresh” clicks to get a new item

  • Feedback actions (“Like” or “Dislike”)

• Usage Data
  • Counts of how many times you open the side panel, click to view full content, or clear your history
  • This data is used only to restore your preferences and history when you reopen your browser

• License Key
  • If you choose to purchase, the key you enter is stored locally to unlock premium features

 

3. Data Storage and Security

• All data is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.

• No data is shared with third parties or sent to external servers.

• You may reset or delete all stored data at any time via the extension’s options page.

• We employ standard browser-level security measures, but note that no storage method is 100% secure.

 

4. Third-Party Services & APIs

• When fetching daily content, the extensions make HTTPS requests to public APIs (e.g., NumbersAPI for facts, Quotes REST for quotes, a jokes API, dictionary APIs, NASA or similar for astronomy).

• No user data is included in those requests—only publicly predefined URLs for content retrieval.

• All scripts and resources are served locally from the extension bundle; no remote code execution is performed.

 

5. Your Privacy Choices

• Consent: By installing and using these extensions, you consent to this data collection and storage as described.

• Access & Correction: You can view and modify your preferences, clear history, or remove your license key at any time in the extension’s settings.

• Data Deletion: A “Reset” or “Clear History” button is provided in the options page to remove all stored data immediately.

 

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. If we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
